Raised across more than ten states in the U.S. and finally spending her high school years in Germany, LeAnn draws her understanding of people and cultures from the many places she has lived. Upon graduation from high school in Germany, LeAnn moved across the world to Hawai’i where she met her husband who not only was born and raised on Oahu, but whose family has been local to the islands for more than two centuries.
Together, LeAnn and her husband moved to the Pacific Northwest where LeAnn earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Portland State University. From there, they proceeded to buy and sell homes across the West Coast while they raised their two children. LeAnn’s experience with buying and selling Real Estate in Oregon, Washington and in San Diego, where she also has her CA real estate license, provides her with not only the market expertise in each of those states, but also the skills necessary to completely remodel homes. When LeAnn’s husband received the opportunity to move his career back home to Oahu in 2015 at the University of Hawai’i, LeAnn took on the responsibility of owner-builder for their complete home remodel in Kailua. They have since sold this home and built a new home on the slopes of Diamond Head.
When LeAnn’s daughter, Anna Barrett, also received the opportunity to move to Oahu, they created the Real Estate partnership of which they have always dreamed. Together, they partner as Principal Broker and Broker-in-Charge to establish a unique, multi-generational leadership perspective at Deep Blue HI. They pride themselves in their open, honest and quick communication and believe that integrity is the most important aspect of their service.
Outside of real estate and in her extra time, LeAnn enjoys traveling around the world, creating new walk-routes around the island, making music play-lists and spending time with family, friends, and her two cats – not necessarily in that order.
