REALTOR®
Jordan Russum

I came to real estate from the investment side, and that’s still the lens I bring to every deal.

After ten years at Opendoor and Mainstay, working alongside some of the most sophisticated buyers and sellers in the country, I learned to analyze deals, read market trends, and spot opportunity across the US housing market. That experience now shapes how I work with clients here on Oʻahu.

My focus is helping people relocate to the North Shore, particularly from the mainland, and guiding first-time buyers, especially Gen Z and millennial clients, into their first home. I also specialize in house hacking: multi-unit properties that combine lifestyle and investment in one move. While the North Shore is home base, I work across all of Oʻahu.

On the buy side, I put strong emphasis on due diligence, helping clients avoid costly mistakes on deals that look good on the surface. I also bring extensive experience with creative financing: private lenders for bridge or renovation funds, and deal structuring with partners when it makes sense.

On the listing side, my approach centers on lifestyle-driven marketing, accurate pricing, and social media. My Instagram content draws around 500,000 views per month, generating real exposure for every property I represent.

I’m a hands-on investor myself. My wife Emily and I own over 20 properties across Hawaiʻi, Arizona, North Carolina, and Georgia. I also run a single-family rental fund backed by more than 50 passive investors in Georgia. Emily manages a portfolio of 40-plus high-end properties on the North Shore and in Honolulu, including luxury condos and oceanfront vacation rentals, giving us a unique window into what makes a property perform, whether as a primary home or an investment.

Clients describe me as sharp, numbers-driven, and tech-forward. I bring pattern recognition built across thousands of transactions and a genuine commitment to the long game: real relationships, not just closed deals.

Outside of work, I’m an avid surfer, a regular at CrossFit in Wahiawa, and dad to two girls. I host the North Shore Entrepreneurs Podcast, where I interview local business owners about their origin stories, and one of my most meaningful projects was coordinating the community rebuild of Haleiwa First Baptist Preschool after the Kona Low flood, with 500-plus volunteers over three weeks.
