Bruce and Kerry Bromberg, the couple behind the acclaimed Blue Ribbon Restaurants group, have listed their reimagined plantation-style home in Puako for $3.95 million. Puako, known as one of the Big Island’s most tightly held oceanfront enclaves, has long been prized for its deep cultural roots and community-oriented lifestyle. The Brombergs first visited the area in 2013 and purchased their home soon after, ultimately rebuilding it in 2014 to honor the architecture and spirit of a traditional Hawaiian plantation house.
