New York Post: Roseanne Barr just listed her $2M Hawaii nut farm — and it’s already drawing tons of buzz

She’s nuts about real estate.

Roseanne Barr is looking to sell her macadamia nut farm on Hawaii’s Big Island, listing the 46-acre spread for just under $2 million, reports Mansion Global.

The property, set along the Hamakua Coast, was the backdrop for her short-lived 2011 Lifetime reality series “Roseanne’s Nuts,” in which she, her son and her partner Johnny Argent tried their hand at farming.

The listing has already generated unusual buzz.

“I’ve represented many celebrity sales, but none have sparked as much interest as this one,” Paul Stukin, founder and chief executive of Deep Blue HI, who is representing the listing, told The Post.

“It’s clear Roseanne still holds a special place in the hearts of so many.”

Barr purchased the land in 2007 for $1.78 million.

The farm includes groves of macadamia nuts as well as avocados, bananas, finger limes and tangerines.

Trails cut through the orchards and connect to a roughly 2,700-square-foot main residence with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

The home features a deep lanai that extends the living areas outdoors, while other amenities include a pool with a waterslide, a pool house, a greenhouse, an art studio and an outdoor soaking tub.

When the show premiered, Barr played up the farm’s nutty theme.

“They’ve said ‘Roseanne’s nuts’ for years, and now I’m going to make that a reality. I’m all about nuts now — macadamia nuts,” she told Variety in 2011.

Stukin said the property’s appeal extends beyond celebrity ownership.

“Only here can you walk a macadamia farm in the morning and a rainforest trail by lunch,” he told Mansion Global, pointing to its potential as a boutique farm-to-table venture or a regenerative homestead.
